Police in Uganda are investigating a murder case after 13-year-old –girl allegedly killed her schoolmate at Divine Care Nursey and Primary School in Uganda.
Reportedly, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and proceeded to strangle her following an argument they had.
The situation escalated further as the victim was forcefully shoved to the ground, resulting to her losing consciousness.
Police spokesperson Fred Enganga confirmed the incident saying a confrontation occurred while they were engaged in the routine of fetching water which led to a physical fight.
Both girls were Sudanese nationals.
The victim was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor in Uganda where she was declared dead upon arrival.
