A 16-year-old boy is among four suspected who have been arrested in connection to the looting and burning of Kikuyu Constituency CDF offices.
Police say that they made several recoveries from the houses of the four suspects .
From the house of 28-yr-old Samuel Muiri Ruiyi, who is a driver at a primary school in Nderi area, a 32″ TV set suspected to be stolen property was recovered.
Muiri is said to have led the officers to his accomplice Samuel Wanjohi, 23, who was also in possession of another 32″ Sony TV belonging to the Constituency Development Funds (CDF) offices.
The 16-year-old boy from a school in Kabete, Kiambu County, was also arrested after he was captured on a CCTV footage disappearing with a Bluetooth speaker, which was also recovered.
In Rironi area of Limuru, Paul Kuria Njenga, 23, was arrested after he was seen stealing several equipment that he later sold to unsuspecting buyers in Kitengela.
The suspects will be arraigned at the Kiambu Law Courts.
This comes days after two suspects were arraigned before a Kiambu court for the same offences of looting and burning the CDF offices.
Naftary David Njama Gatuota, Joseph Kuru Waweru and others not before court were accused of having taken part in the setting on fire of the Kikuyu NG-CDF offices valued at KSh20 million, malicious damage to property where they set on fire an NG-CDF vehicle valued at KSh2.5 million and also damaged the office of the Kikuyu Sub-County Deputy County Commissioner valued at KSh600,000.
The offenses were committed on the 25th day of June, 2024.
