Harambee Stars are gearing up to face Namibia in their second 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier match, scheduled for Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
Kenya began their qualification campaign with a goalless draw against Zimbabwe at Mandela Stadium, securing a single point. In the other Group J match, Cameroon defeated Namibia, placing them at the top of the group with 3 points. Kenya and Zimbabwe are currently tied with one point each, while Namibia is yet to register any points in the qualifiers.
The match officials for the upcoming clash will include Salisu Basheer, Grema Mohammed, Pwadutakam Samuel, and Abdulmajeed Olaide.
As Harambee Stars aim to secure their first win in the qualifiers, Cameroon will also be in action against Zimbabwe in the other Group J match.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the 2025 AFCON tournament, which will be hosted by Morocco.
