However, they now face a stern test against Litto (Cameroon), who secured their place in the last eight with a 3-1 (25-22, 25-18, 18-25, 25-17) win over Chief Naval Staff (Nigeria). Kenya Pipeline secured their quarterfinal spot with a comfortable 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-6) victory against Spiking Stars (Botswana). They are now set to face APR (Rwanda), who defeated La Loi (Congo DR) 3-1 (25-18, 25-13, 22-25, 25-17). This matchup is expected to be closely contested.
The most anticipated quarterfinal clash is undoubtedly between reigning champions Zamalek (Egypt) and KCB (Kenya). Zamalek edged closer to defending their title after a dominant 3-0 (25-8, 25-15, 25-15) win over Descartes (Ivory Coast), while KCB clinched a solid victory against host Nigeria Customs Services with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-17) scoreline.
