Police have launched investigations after a 21-year-old man died under unclear circumstances on Thursday, February 29 morning in Mowlem, Nairobi.
The young man had allegedly been brutally assaulted and was nursing injuries amid impeccable damage.
Speaking to the authorities, the mother of the deceased said that the boy had gone out to buy chips on Wednesday not to come back.
On waking up on Thursday, neighbours in the locality called up the lady to aid her son who was unconscious.
The boy had reportedly spent the night at the doorstep of the mothers home and was in a lot of pain.
The victim was later rushed to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

What police said
The police also said that the neighbours established that he was nursing a fractured right thigh, broken right hand and the teeth at the right side of his mouth were shattered.
The body was take to the morgue awaiting the autopsy for further investigations.
Nairobi police commander Adamson Bungei noted that no arrests had been made yet, but investigations are ongoing.
“This seems to be murder but we are pursuing it to establish the motive first,” he said.
