A 23-year-old woman is in police custody for allegedly poisoning a school director after she met him in the club.
Godwin Kansiime was a secondary director at Victoria Secondary School Nansana in Uganda.
According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire told the media that the suspect was arrested along Salaama Road in Kampala.

“She is being held on charges of murdering Kansiime after giving him poisoned drinks,” said Mr Owoyesigyire.
“The deceased was last seen in a Nansana bar on September 2 at 6:15 am with the suspect as per the private CCTV camera system as he was leaving the bar,” he added.
The deceased’s body was found in a bush in Nansomba Vilage, Masulita Sub-county in Wakiso District.
The body was taken to KCCA Mortuary at Mulago and was later identified by his relatives.

Post-mortem results confirmed that he had died of poisoning. Further, investigations indicated that his wife had sent him money before he died.
The money was however transferred to another number after his body was discovered.
Upon tracking the number, the law enforcement officers were led to the suspect.
“When our detectives interrogated her, she said while they were in a bar in Nansana, she dropped a tablet in a drink, which the deceased was taking,” he said.
“She said that her intentions were to make the man high but she did not know it would affect his health.”
According to police, the suspect conspired with three others to execute the murder.
