Four brothers at Chepsir village in Kericho County are counting losses after their sisters allegedly hired goons to destroy 45 acres of tea farm.
According to Richard Sang, Kenneth Sang and Gilbert Sang, the goons used power saws to cut down the tea bushes that were planted more than 20 years ago.
The brothers said that some parcels of land which they used for grazing cows have also been ploughed, forcing them to sell their cows.
In addition, indigenous trees and exotic trees on the land were also cut down in some parts of their 90 acre farm.
