Shakira’s sons shine again: Sasha and Milan make waves with music academy album

Shakira’s sons, Sasha and Milan Piqué, are proving that musical talent runs deep in their family.

As part of the Miami-based Let It Beat! Music Academy, co-founded by Guillermo Vadala and Nerina Nicotra.

The talented brothers recently contributed to a new album titled All for You.

Released by Music 4 You and distributed by Sony Music Latin on January 24, the album is a blend of English and Spanish tracks that highlight the creativity of budding young artists.

The 12-track production features Sasha and Milan on two standout songs.

In the title track, “All for You,” the boys collaborate with other academy students to deliver a lively performance.

Meanwhile, “The One,” a tender pop-rock tune, spotlights 10-year-old Sasha as the lead vocalist, while 12-year-old Milan takes charge on the drums.

Their contributions are not just impressive for their age but also a testament to their growing musical prowess.

This is not their first brush with the spotlight.

In May 2023, the brothers showcased their talent in their mother’s poignant ballad, Acróstico.

The stripped-down track, where Milan played the piano and both boys lent their voices, became an emotional anthem about a mother’s strength drawn from her children.

The song resonated deeply with listeners, earning a nomination for Song of the Year at the Latin Grammys and climbing to No. 2 on the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart.

Shakira herself has expressed immense pride in her sons’ artistic journey.

Following Mama’s footsteps

“This year Milan has written songs that have moved me to tears, and Sasha has spent countless hours at the piano discovering his voice,” she shared on social media.

Reflecting on their involvement in Acróstico, she added, “They felt the song and interpreted it with the passion and emotion of those who carry music within them.”

Sasha and Milan are carving their own path in the music world.

With their evident dedication and natural talent, these young artists are poised to make even greater strides, continuing the legacy of their globally celebrated mother.
