Kenyans are now wondering how safe it is to interact with wild animals especially children after a video went viral where by a family was seen taking pictures with a troop of Baboons on the side of the road.

For those who have visited game parks , people are usually advised not to feed the animals.

In the video posted by wildlife conservationist Dr. Paula Kahumbu , the animals are seen trying to assault one of the children as a woman who seemed to like the mother was taking pictures using her phone.

The man who seemed like the dad is seen scattering what appears to be seeds, the baboons quickly dive in for a bite. Seconds later, one smaller baboon appears to get a little too excited and starts to harass one of the little girls in the family group.

Moments later the animals begin fighting running around the children obviously scaring them.

Kenyans on X were obviously baffled by this ,one Kenyan aske:

“1. Parked wrongly, exposing the whole family and other road users. 2. Exposing the family to wild animals and diseases that can jump from animals to human beings.” Stated Ubo Ugalugalu

The undated video seems to have been recorded in Meru.
