Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi is a full-blown farmer.

On Saturday, September 9, the vocal lawmaker showed a glimpse of agricultural activities at his farm in Kapsaret, on the outskirts of Eldoret town.

Accompanied by his Mogotio counterpart Reuben Kiborek, MP Sudi took a tour of his OS Dairies, before going to his expansive maize plantation where he is currently preparing silage.

Sudi underscored the importance of agriculture in a country’s economy, urging farmers to embrace modern technology farming.

“Agriculture is the backbone in every country’s economy. We must encourage our farmers to embrace modern farming techniques in order to fully secure our country with adequate food,” he said.
