Judy Nyawira, the wife of veteran filmmaker Abel Mutua, has made it clear that expanding their family is not in her plans.
During a recent Q&A session with Abel, Judy reaffirmed her decision to have no more children, despite hypothetical offers of a large sum of money.
The couple, who share a daughter named Stephanie, engaged in a playful yet telling conversation in a video posted on Abel’s YouTube channel.
Abel, curious about Judy’s resolve, asked her if she would consider having another child if KSh 100 million were offered.
Without hesitation, Judy responded with a firm and amused,
“No,” followed by laughter, signalling just how settled she is in her decision.
She further explained, “To be very honest, no. I would not. I think that chapter is completely closed for me. I don’t think money can change that.”
Not willing to give up easily, Abel increased the imaginary offer to KSh 200 million, but Judy remained steadfast.
She playfully questioned if he was trying to test her resolve, yet her laughter and firm stance left no doubt that her mind was made up.
Judy’s clear decision reflects her contentment with their life as it is, and her commitment to the choice she’s made about motherhood.
Despite the light-hearted nature of their discussion, it’s evident that for Judy, the idea of having another child is a closed chapter, no matter the financial incentive.
While they may joke about such scenarios, it’s clear that Judy’s decision is rooted in her deep understanding of herself and her family’s needs.
