Actor Minne Cayy from The Real Housewives Of Nairobi is claiming KSh 3 million over defamation allegation by influencer Michelle Ntalami.
Her legal response comes a day after Michelle Ntalami allegedly sued her and South African Media giant M-Net.
Minne Cayy went on ahead to share on her instagram account a document of her response to Miss Ntalami.

What did her response say?
In her cease statement from Mwenda Njagi advocates, she states that Miss Ntalami degreaded her public image.
Ntalami did this by sharing information of her legal proceedings with news outlets and with the public.
Moreover, she goes on to state that the claim of legal action by Miss Ntalami were unfounded and not true.
“That your public statement suggesting legal action against our client without serving her with proper notice or legal documents are both inacuruate and defamatory”

The cease order goes on to highlight that Ntalami was fully aware of her actions by sharing said information online.
The response highlights that by doing so, Ntalami tarnished Cayy’s name which is her brand as a performer.
“Our clients brand and reputation are her bread and butter and your actions have serious adverse effects on her career and work prospects”
Through the response Cayy went on to state Ntalami’s actions “have serious legal consequences and not limited to defamation”

The tea in Minne’s response
Minne did not shy away from serving details on the shooting of The Real Housewives of Nairobi and why Ntalami claims foul.
In her response, Minne was keen to highlight that Ntalami accepted to be featured on The Real Housewives of Nairobi.
In addition, she shared that Ntalami agreed to be filmed on site and even took a chopper ride to the filming set.
Minne goes on to highlight that Ntalami even offered to give a speech voluntarily at the premier of the reality show.
Furthermore, Minne said that Ntalami was just bitter for not being picked to feature in season 2 of The Real Housewives of Nairobi.
Eventually, Minne seeks KSh 3 million with a three day notice of public apology on general damages for defamation.
In brief, the showdown lawsuit of the year could be loading between Minne Cayy and Michelle Ntalami.
However, it is too early to tell who might win the case if the events ends up in court.
