AFC Leopards’ Mousa Oundo signs two-year contract extension

FKF Premier League side AFC Leopards has announced a two-year contract extension for their defensive midfielder, Mousa Oundo, keeping him with the club until January 2027.

Oundo, who joined Leopards in June 2022, has been a pivotal figure in their midfield. After signing the extension, he expressed his happiness about continuing his journey with the club.

“I am thrilled to have extended my stay at AFC Leopards. I feel grateful to be part of this club and always feel at home here. I am looking forward to a great season,” Oundo stated.

Originally from Nairobi County, Oundo attended Kaloleni Primary School before moving on to Bukiri Boys in Busia County for his high school education. He began his football journey with his local team, Black Mamba, in Kaloleni.

He later played for Mathare United’s Under-20 team in the Kenya Premier League Under-20 tournament, where they emerged as winners for two consecutive years. Oundo has also played for Mathare United, Chemilil Sugar FC, and Nairobi Stima.

After joining AFC Leopards in June 2022, he was loaned to Kibera Black Stars for three months. Upon returning from his loan stint, Oundo made his debut for AFC Leopards against Kakamega Homeboys at Nyayo Stadium on December 21, 2022.
