AFCON U17 CECAFA Qualifiers: Coach Salim Babu names provisional squad

Coach Salim Babu has unveiled his provisional squad for the upcoming AFCON U-17 CECAFA qualifiers, which are set to begin on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Kampala, Uganda.

The squad will report to training camp on Friday, November 29, 2024, and is scheduled to depart for Uganda on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

The tournament draw will take place on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM EAT. The competition will feature nine teams: Uganda (hosts), Kenya, Burundi, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Tanzania.

Coach Babu, alongside his assistant coach Anthony Akhulia, will aim to secure qualification for the continental tournament and add to their growing achievements in youth football.
