The Kenya national men’s volleyball team Wafalme Stars are through to the semi-finals of the African Games after recording a 3-0 win against Burkina Faso.
The Wafalme dominated the opening set, claiming victory with a commanding score of 25-10. Despite a remarkable improvement from the Burkinabe in the second set, they narrowly lost 25-22.
Coach Elisha Aliwa’s team sealed their spot in the semifinals with a 25-21 triumph in the final set, maintaining their flawless streak of not conceding a single set in the tournament thus far.
Meanwhile Wafalme’s counterparts Malkia strikers will be taking on Gambia late on.
