His sentiments were echoed by Patrick Ndekana, an employee of the airline who explained that the communication department was preparing to release an official statement about the suspension of flights to China.
“Be patient, since our communication team is finalizing an official statement that will be released soon for the public,” said Ndekana.
The national carrier had initially suspended its flights to China in 2019 during the time of COVID-19 (corona) but it had again resumed operations on the route since May 11, 2023.
