Ajay, a member of the popular Kenyan drill group, Buruklyn Boyz has spoken out in response to allegations made by fellow artist Dyana Cod, who accused him of removing their collaborative track “Set It” from YouTube.
Dyana Cod recently took to social media to express frustration, saying “So Ajay and his team decided to pull down my song ‘Set It’ from YouTube,” accompanied by crying emojis.
She added in the caption, “I’m so angry, I’m so upset, how could they, the guts.”
The claims of the Buruklyn Boyz member taking the video down without her consent, has spark a heated debate among their fanbases.
Ajay addressed the situation, dismissing the allegations and providing his side of the story.
Speaking through his Instagram live, Ajay clarified that he is not the bad one in the whole situation, “Mimi sio mtiaji, hiyo tu ndio naeza sema”.
“Keki huwezi kula pekee yako”, He added.
On a live session call homeboyz radio fm hosts Jakes and Dj chunky love called Dyana Cods asking about the situation. The “set it” was asked , “All Kenyans want to know right now, manze, niaje nikienda kusearch hiyo ngoma YouTube si ipati?”.
In response Dyana Cods said, “Ata mi imeni pata off guard leo, I was asking Ajay the same thing.”
“So Ajay was signed to the distributor called 1PR and apparently they had some disagreement on some finances .”
“kuna mtu mahali hajalipwa, so they decided to come for my song,” She said.
“Nimerushwa chini ya basi, without any warning, just waking up and finding it gone,” Dyana Cods added.
The back and forth has generated significant buzz online, with fans of both artists weighing in on the controversy.
While some have expressed disappointment over the fallout, others hope the two artists can resolve their differences and possibly re-upload the track.
