Akothee plans grand international wedding with Nelly Oaks: “This time, it’s the real deal!”

Singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, better known as Akothee, recently opened up about her plans during an engaging interview.

At 43, the vibrant artist shared the exciting news, revealing that she is planning an extravagant wedding with her current partner, Nelson Oyugi, popularly known as Nelly Oaks.

Akothee explained that her previous wedding with her ex-husband, Denis Schweizer (also known as Mister Omosh), was just a warm-up.

“The other wedding was small, it was just practice. The real wedding is coming soon, and it will be much bigger,” she said with a smile.

Despite facing challenges in her past relationships and marriages, Akothee remains optimistic about love.

“Why would I lose hope in love? I need to be loved. I’m going to have another wedding, and this one will be international,” she added, hinting at the grandeur of the event.

However, she kept most of the details under wraps, explaining that the guest list would be highly exclusive. “

This time, we won’t announce the date. It will be by invitation only, and the invitation will be based on your value.”

Akothee and Nelly Oaks have openly celebrated their relationship over the past year, following her split from Omosh.

The couple’s romance became public during a live TikTok session in which they shared a special dinner, with Nelly referring to Akothee as someone dear to him.

In her usual fiery fashion, Akothee shut down fans questioning Nelly’s relationship status.

“Am I a rock? Or a tree? Of course, I’m the one he’s with!” she said, making it clear that Nelly was unavailable to anyone else.

This upcoming wedding marks another significant chapter in Akothee’s journey, following her two previous marriages.

While the public remains curious, she’s keeping the finer details close to her chest.
