After recording his 50th goal in 2023, Portuguese football great Cristiano Ronaldo says he is not yet done after helping his club Al Nassar beat Al Shabab 5-2 in the Saudi King Cup.
“Great victory and I’m thrilled to announce my 50th goal in 2023,” wrote the former Manchester Unite and Real madrid ace on his instagram page.
Ronaldo drove home a 74th shot at close range with his right foot.
The win keeps Al-Nassr’s hopes of winning the competition alive, having not lifted the trophy since 1990.
Al-Nassr overpowered the hosts in the first half thanks to goals from Mane and Abdulrahman Ghareeb, with the latter coming on the stroke of half-time.

They will be looking to do one better this season after they fell in the semis last term to Al-Wehda. Out of his fifty goals this year, Ronaldo has scored 40 for the Saudi Pro League side and 10 for Portugal.
