Apple rolls out iOS 17 update to fix iPhone 15’s overheating issues

Apple’s newest flagship phone has had many of its owners, especially the iPhone 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max users complain about overheating issues while charging the phone.

Many had reported that their new phones had been becoming increasingly warm for no reason while charging the device.

To correct this Apple has now released a new version of iOS 17 to fix the overheating problem.

This is according to the new iOS 17.0.3 patch notes, which will not affect the performance of the A17 Pro chip.

There was some speculation that potential hardware concerns, that the use of titanium components or the new enhanced processor could be the cause of the overheating in the phones.

However, Apple attributed reports of iPhone 15s overheating to a combination of factors, including issues related to certain apps such as Instagram and Uber, background processing after data transfer, and unspecified glitches within iOS 17.
