Arnold Schwarzenegger’s aging confession: ‘I’m no superhuman’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former California governor, action movie icon, and bodybuilder, candidly addresses the inevitable process of aging.

At the age of 76, he reminisces about a time when his body radiated power, a stark contrast to his current perception.

During his appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Schwarzenegger displayed his characteristic sense of humor when discussing aging.

Schwarzenegger’s confession

He admitted, “I kind of smile because every day I do look in a mirror and I say, ‘Yep, you suck,'” a humorous nod to the changes he’s experienced.

With a touch of self-deprecation, he continued, “Look at this body.

Now they’re just hanging there.” His playful frustration is evident as he questions, “I mean, what the hell is going on here?”

Reflecting on stardom

He reflected on his prime years when he was celebrated for his supreme physique, defined muscles, and prominent veins.

“When you’ve been hailed for years as this supreme body, and you have the definition and you see the veins coming down your abs.

and you see veins on top of your chest and then cut, you roll the clock 50 years.

And you’re standing there and you don’t see that anymore,” he lamented.

In addition to discussing aging, Schwarzenegger used the platform to promote his new book, “Be Useful,” where he shares the tools that contributed to his success in life.

The actor emphasized the importance of instilling resilience and determination in the younger generation.

“Let’s go and teach kids to be tough, to go out and do sports, to go and study, to struggle.

And to go through these kind of painful moments sometimes,” he passionately conveyed.
