Kenyan comedian and content creator Stephen Otieno, popularly known as Useful Idioty, may have the largest bottle of champagne in East Africa if his latest win is anything to go by.

A Melchizedek (30L bottle), the largest Champagne bottle size in the world, will definitely do. This size holds about 40 standard bottles and pours 240 Champagne glasses.

Useful Idioty celebrates Arsenal win with hilarious video

Useful Idioty, a football lover and ardent supporter of the English Premier League club Arsenal celebrated the team’s recent success, securing the league’s top spot in recent weeks.

The Gunners claimed a 2-1 victory over Wolves at the Emirates on Saturday, December 2, 2023, prompting the comedian to create a video celebrating the win.

The comedian, born and raised in Trans Nzoia County, filmed the video in the heart of Kitale town, where a sculpture of a maize cob is hoisted, garnering massive reactions on social media.

Why should Useful Idioty have the largest bottle of champagne in the region?

Among those elated by the video is Arsenal midfield star Declan Rice, who once again displayed fine form as the Gunners secured the win, extending their lead at the summit.

The £105-million-pound man shared the hilarious video of Useful Idioty on his official and verified Facebook Page, boasting 410k followers.

However, the video did not make it to his Instagram account, which boasts 3 million followers. The 24-year-old midfielder only shared a seven-word message with the Arsenal fan base: “Thank you for the support as always.”

The England midfielder was roped in from West Ham in the summer and has lived up to his price tag, quickly becoming a cult hero just a few months into his five-year contract in North London.
