Baba Talisha forgives Brian Chira’s grandmother over misuse of burial funds accusations

Faustine Lipuku alias Baba Talisha, has come out to publicly forgive Brian Chira’s grandmother, Esther Njeri.

This comes after she accused him of mishandling Ksh8 million that was raised for her late grandson’s burial.

The drama unfolded a few months ago when Chira’s grandmother in an emotional outburst, alleged that Faustine had misappropriated the funds raised and intended to give her grandson a dignified send off.

The claims caused a significant stir in the community and among the netizens with some questioning Faustine’s integrity and calling for accountability.

However, in a recent statement, Lipuku addressed the allegations, maintaining his innocence and expressing his decision to forgive the grandmother after the accusations.

“I moved on with my life. I helped where I could, did what I did. I hold grudges in my heart and it helps me a lot mentally.

“I forgive and forget. Things happen and they all happen with a reason. The only thing you need to do is to stay still and pray. God will always take charge and control everything,” he said.

This is shortly after Chira’s grandmother held a house opening ceremony and named the house “Chira Clan” in honor of her late grandson.

Despite the previous tension between them, Baba Talisha expressed his support for the new milestone in the family’s life.

“Well done” he commented. This just shows that it’s indeed true he holds nothing against the grandmother.

Part of the money raised during that time is what helped in the construction of the house.

The gesture of forgiveness from Faustine and the completion of the “Chira Clan” house have brought a sense of closure to what has been a trying time to both families.
