Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunite publicly with kids amid divorce

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were spotted with their children, marking their first public reunion since Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, the former couple was photographed outside The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, arrived together, walking side by side before entering the hotel.

The Air actor opted for a casual look, wearing blue jeans, a button-up shirt, and dark sunglasses. Lopez, always chic, wore a black long-sleeve crop top paired with matching jeans and light-coloured sunglasses.

The pair were later seen inside a black SUV, with Affleck behind the wheel and Lopez seated in the passenger’s seat.

This outing comes nearly a month after Lopez, the “Can’t Get Enough” singer, filed for divorce on Aug. 20, ending their two-year marriage.

The filing listed April 26, 2024, as the official date of separation.

A source close to Lopez shared her heartbreak over the split, saying, “She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken. The kids remain their top priority.”

Just last week, Lopez made a dazzling appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, attending the premiere of Unstoppable, a sports biopic about wrestler Anthony Robles, in which she stars.

Lopez was seen deep in conversation with Ben Affleck’s longtime friend and production partner, Matt Damon.

According to an insider, the two had a meaningful and light-hearted conversation at the afterparty, holding hands as they chatted.

While Lopez was promoting their film, Affleck was in Los Angeles with his children, Samuel, 12, and Seraphina, 15, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

His absence from the premiere fueled speculation, but it was clear both parents were focused on family.

A source revealed that Lopez is “so over all the attention on her personal life” and is feeling more positive since promoting Unstoppable.
