Beyoncé congratulates daughter Blue Ivy for winning BET YoungStars Award

Blue Ivy Carter won the 2024 BET YoungStars Award.

Though the moment wasn’t televised, her mom, Beyoncé, made sure to celebrate her daughter’s big achievement.

The award show, known as culture’s biggest night, took place on Sunday at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Neither Beyoncé nor her 12-year-old daughter, who she shares with Jay-Z, attended the event, even though both were nominated for awards.

Blue Ivy’s nomination for the YoungStars Award recognized young entertainers making an impact in television, film, music, or sports.

Other nominees included Akira Akbar, Demi Singleton, Heiress Diana Harris, JaBria McCullum, Jalyn Hall, Leah Jeffries, and 5-year-old rapper Van Van, who gave a fantastic performance during the show.

Not all winners were announced on the telecast, and Blue Ivy’s category wasn’t shown.

After the show, BET revealed the news, and Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment shared it on Instagram, congratulating the young star.

The post read, “Congratulations to Blue Ivy Carter on winning the 2024 BET YoungStars Award!”

This win adds to Blue Ivy’s impressive list of achievements.

She became the youngest person to appear on a Billboard chart with her feature on Jay-Z’s 2012 song “Glory.”

Recently, her younger sister Rumi Carter broke Blue Ivy’s record as the youngest female artist to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Thanks to her feature on Beyoncé’s song “Protector.”

Blue Ivy also holds the title of the youngest person to win a BET Award, having received the Her Award for “Brown Skin Girl.”

Beyoncé, known for her many talents, was nominated for five awards at the show. She won the Viewer’s Choice Award for “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
