Having previously acknowledged his skirmish with cancer in 2019, Bishop Kiuna ascended the church’s altar once more to herald his complete recovery.

With fervor, he imparted invaluable wisdom, urging others not to sour in the face of tribulation. “Don’t get bitter with the process. If you get bitter with the process, you shall abort your purpose. I am not bitter about the process because I am better. My best days are ahead of me.”

This celebration bore a dual significance as Bishop Kiuna commemorated his 29th marriage anniversary and 57th birthday.

Amidst this jubilation, his eldest daughter, Vanessa, a distinguished lawyer, took the stage, expressing profound gratitude for her father’s unwavering support and guidance throughout her endeavors.

Vanessa highlighted her father’s profound influence on her life choices, emphasizing his role as her foremost advocate. “My dad is my biggest champion.
