Boat capsizes near Lamu Port

A boat capsized at Yamaha Seafront, Lamu County, on Friday, February 23 morning.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the boat loaded with construction materials capsized within the Port of Lamu.

“The Kenya Coast Guard Service (KCGS) and other stakeholders are leading salvage operations with no injuries reported,” the Ministry says.
