Bradley Mtall meets government spokesperson Isaac Mwaura

The government spokesperson, Dr. Isaac Mwaura, hosted Bradley Goliath at his office, marking a significant moment in his life.

Bradley Goliath, popularly known for his content and activism on youth-related issues, had been facing challenges in obtaining his crucial identification documents—his birth certificate and national Identification Card(ID).

Dr. Mwaura assured Goliath that he would personally intervene to ensure the process is expedited.

A step towards empowerment

The meeting between Dr. Mwaura and Bradley Goliath came after Goliath publicly shared his struggles with acquiring the necessary documents to fully participate in civic processes.

Without a birth certificate and national ID, many opportunities—such as accessing government services, pursuing higher education, voting, or even formal employment—remain out of reach for many youth in Kenya.

During the discussion, Mwaura expressed his admiration for Goliath’s determination to be an active voice for his generation despite the obstacles he faced.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to helping young people acquire the identification documents necessary to exercise their rights as citizens.

“This afternoon, Bradley Marongo, popularly known as Gen Z Goliath or simply ‘Bradley Mtall’, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Government Spokesperson,” said Isaac Mwaura.

During the visit, it came to light that Bradley hadn’t acquired any essential government documents including his Birth Certificate and National Identification Card.

Mwaura, stepping in to assist, has taken the initiative to help Bradley obtain these important documents.

The government spokesperson will accompany Bradley to meet Immigration & Citizen Services PS Amb. Julius Bitok on September 19 to resolve the issue.

“The good news is that Kenyans seeking new ID cards will now receive them within just 10 days, starting next month.” The government spokesperson tweeted on their official page.

Government Intervention and Support

Mwaura, who is also a vocal advocate for persons living with disabilities, has often championed the rights of marginalized groups in Kenya.

By pledging to assist Goliath in acquiring these essential documents, the government spokesperson underscored the administration’s intention to ensure that no young person is left behind, regardless of their background or social standing.
