Bravin Yuri advises women to reject men seeking rich ladies for love

Influential Kenyan social commentator Bravin Yuri has sparked a new conversation online with his bold advice to women regarding dating expectations.

In a recent Instagram post, Yuri urged women to avoid men who say they can’t date broke women.

Bravin Yuri, known for his outspoken views, emphasized that men should take on the role of providers in a relationship.

He stated,“When you get a man who says ,I can’t date a broke woman, run from such an individual”

“These are the 50/50 merchants I have consistently warned you about”

“It’s simple. You are the man, you are the provider. If I am rich then she is also rich”

“The true value of a woman is respect for the man”

“If a woman respects you as the man then she has all the wealth that you need”

“While at it, I can ask you a simple question”

“If she was rich and had the same standards, do you think you would be her type?”

His post, which quickly gained traction, ignited widespread debate across social media platforms.

Supporters of Yuri’s view praised him for advocating traditional gender roles, where men are expected to be the primary providers in a relationship.

Many echoed his sentiments, saying that a man’s wealth should extend to his partner, and financial support should not be conditional.

Bravin Yuri’s statement comes after popular content creator Massage By Steve, who recently made waves by expressing his preference for dating older women.

In an interview , Steve boldly declared, he likes older women and doesn’t believe in dating people who don’t have money.

“Truth be told mi napenda wamama bro , you’ll never catch me dating hawa Waschana wadogo”

“Also I don’t believe in people who don’t have money”

“Si kwa ubaya but for example if I don’t have alot of money then nijieke mtu mwenye hana doo that means tunastruggle sisi wawili”

“Si tubalance, we hauna doo date mtu ako na doo”

“Ama we mwenye uko na doo date mtu mwenye ako n doo, kukuwe na balance kuliko we hauna doo na mi sina doo,” he said.

While Steve advocates for financial independence and dating older, wealthier women, Bravin Yuri’s stance promotes the traditional idea of men as the providers, regardless of a woman’s financial situation.

Bravin Yuri’s message has resonated with many who feel that the concept of financial sharing should not diminish the responsibility men have historically carried in providing for their families.

As the conversation continues, Bravin Yuri remains a significant voice in Kenya’s online community, frequently challenging societal norms and sparking debates that resonate with his growing audience.
