Brazilian influencer Suellen Carey, who made headlines last year by marrying herself and later divorcing this year, has agreed to not only dubbing the voice of pop icon Mariah Carey but also undergoing a full body surgery just to look like her.
Suellen, known for her striking resemblance to the legendary singer, revealed on a phone interview with TV47 digital that she underwent plastic surgery, spending nearly $10,000 to enhance her features to look like Mariah.
Suellen Carrey, now thirty five, discovered her uncanny resemblance to her music icon over a decade ago.
” I chose her because since I was a teenager I’ve heard that I’m similar to her.
And I’m also a fan of hers, so I put the two things together,” Suellen said.
“And that’s why I use the name Carey in honor of her,” she added.
Suellen decided to amplify her likeness to Mariah Carey in 2019 when she was invited to perform at a party.
Hailing from Brazil, she invested a significant sum in plastic surgery, surpassing five procedures to mirror her idol’s features.
Among the transformative procedures were rhinoplasty, to refine her nose , a liposuction sculpted her physique, while not one but two breaststroke augmentation procedures were undertaken to emulate the iconic curves of her musical idol.
To complete the metamorphosis, Suellen opted for brachioplasty which is an arm lift procedure to reshape the appearance of her arms.
Suellen expressed her satisfaction stating; “after I had rhinoplasty and face fillers I think I looked a lot like her.
If I do make up like her, I look very similar to her,” she said.
With her commitment to resembling Mariah Carey, Suellen not only altered her appearance but also enhanced her fan base solidifying her status as an attractive look alike Performer.
According to Suellen, the transformation was not just cosmetic but a way to connect with her idol on a deeper level.
