Jubilee Allianz General Insurance seeks to strengthen market share, hires new CEO

Jubilee General Insurance Limited is now a company of the Allianz Group and operates as “Jubilee Allianz General Insurance Limited.” Allianz is one of the world’s leading insurers and asset managers.

According to the statement by Allianz, Adja, the in-coming CEO drove the acquisition and integration of an insurance company in Morocco into the Allianz Group in 2016. "As CEO of Allianz Senegal since 2019, she has led cultural changes by putting in place a results-driven organization with key performance and productivity measurement tools," adds the statement. Adja has held key executive positions within the insurance industry in Europe and Africa.

Meanwhile, Demba Sy joins the Board of Directors of Jubilee Allianz General Insurance Limited, while Isaac Adomako will replace Philip Kimani as company Chief Finance Officer.

Adomako has a wealth of experience. He has worked in Allianz Ghana for nine years, first as Head of Audit then as Finance and Administration Director.

“With these management changes, we aim to strengthen Allianz’s businesses on the continent and to accelerate the transformation of our entities to better deliver for our customers”, said Vrolijk.
