The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct the official draw for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup African Qualifiers on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The event will start at 14h30 Cairo Time (15h30 EAT), following the draw for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, scheduled for 14h00 Cairo Time (15h00 EAT).
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026, featuring 24 teams, will include four African representatives. The qualifiers are pivotal in determining which nations will represent the continent on the global stage.
In the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup held in Colombia, African teams Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria participated. Nigeria reached the Round of 16, while Cameroon and Ghana exited at the group stage.
