Thicky Sandra, the daughter of former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko , has recently left netizens in shock after showcasing her lavish lifestyle on social media.
In a series of posts, Sandra shared images of luxury cars, designer clothes, and exotic vacations painting a picture of opulence and affluence.
However, amidst the glitz and glamour, a heartbreaking plea has emerged from a woman battling cancer.
The woman who came out and shared her story on socials, reached out to Sandra appealing for financial assistance.
In a heartfelt message , the cancer patient expressed her struggle to afford basic necessities such as food and shelter.
“I am 52 years of age residing in Githurai 45, I have been affected by cancer of the breast, and at the moment, they were all removed.
“The first breast was removed in 2021 and I lacked proper medication and tablets to take, so cancer came back which spread to the second breast, and it was removed recently in February 9th 2024.
“At the moment I am receiving my medications well, I do get two chemo therapy injections every month and one takes medicine worth 250g . I thank God because so far I’ve got 4 injections.
“My biggest problem is food, I don’t get enough food, I am sometimes forced to ask for help from well wishers and sometimes I don’t get any.
“My current house rent is Ksh2000 and as we speak I am unable to pay for it, I asked my fans on TikTok to help me built a house similar to the one I’m currently living in (made of iron sheets) but unfortunately that has not been fulfilled.
“Everything happens for a reason and I believe one day, I will be lucky enough and I will be able to stay in my own house. I own a piece of land in Embu and my desire is to build and settle their.
Sandra, daughter to Mike Sonko ,please help me, please look for a way of helping me. I believe Obinna you will also be able to get access to this video, because it is through your interview that I got to learn and know about Sandra.
I plead with Sandra to give me a chance in her heart just like the way she has a place in her heart for her dog. Just help me get iron sheets, nails , bags of cement so that I can be able to built my own place and move out of the rentals. I have been calling out on people to help me but it has been in vain, so please Sandra don’t ignore this,” she said.
This comes after Thicky Sandra’s interview on Oga Obinna show. During the interview Sandra said things like; she does not know what fare is, which is basically the transport money people pay in public service vehicles, she also talked about her dog’s menu which actually shocked many.
In as much as netizens think she has everything, Sandra said there are things she admires but she’s yet to get them.
“I need a private jet, a barking bag and five million pounds in my account. This is to probably get myself a G-wagon, a house, more bags or more hair. My father can get me these things but I want to get them on my own,” she said.
“I currently own 5 cars, three convertibles, tu Mercedes Benz’s and a range rover.” Sandra added.
She also talked about her estimated bride price. ” 22 Bentleys, jets, seven to eight lions, choppers etc.”. Sandra stated.
