Carol Sonie recounts embarrassing moments in her dating life

Content creator Carol Muthoni, popularly known as Carol Sonie, recently came clean about an embarrassing experiencing with one of her former lovers.

The mother of one narrated the experience in her YouTube channel, where she featured other creators Dorea Chege, Myley Stacey and Morin Actress in a segment dubbed “Girls Tag”.

They four were discussing matters love and dating, when Sonie came clean about some of the lengths, she had gone to impress her partners and their families.

Before divulging details of her intriguing encounter, she was quick to remind the ladies and her audience that she was not referring to her ex-partner Mulamwah.

The two broke up in 2021 and together sired a baby girl named Keilah Omondi. Mulamwah has since moved with another creator identified as Ruth K.

Mulamwah and his ‘bestie’ Ruth K, who made public their relationship, welcomed a baby boy in February this year.

Carol Sonie went ahead to reveal she once made matching outfits with her boyfriend’s mother, only for their relationship to end before they could officiate it.

The mother of one went on after encouragement from her friends. “Hee let me tell you, Maina… Ushawahi tengenezea mother-in-law kitenge? Unashona yako, alafu unachukuwa measurements unapeleka kitenge ashonewe pia.

(Hee let me tell you Maina… Have you ever made some kitenge for your mother-in-law? You have yours tailor made then take some measurements and have your mother-in-law’s also tailor made),” Sonie recalled.

At the time, she said, the intention was to step out looking elegant with her potential mother-in-law, as a way of seeking approval from her and her son.

However, the relationship did not last. “Na bado nikaachwa.( He still left me),” she concluded.

While reflecting on the embarrassing experience, the mother of one wished she had made the gesture for her parents, or her partner at the time, instead of the mother-in-law.

Now let me tell you, mi sijui but yoh, nakaanga chini hivi nasema nini ilikuwa imeniingia. I mean I could have made it for my mother, or the guy, or my dad.
