They expressed their eagerness to see if their Kenyan story can captivate a global audience through the global streaming platform.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, Tonight from Midnight, our Blockbuster will be up on @netflix.ke Let’s see if we can reach a Global Audience with our Very own Kenyan story. #philmambassadors

Adding, “Thank you Kwa kutushikilia, let’s recruit more Ambassadors Globally now. For Crew and Cast, all 300+ of you.”

“This is only the beginning. Thank you for walking with us on this Journey 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾,” shared the dynamic duo.

But that’s not all! Abel Mutua recently spilled the beans during an interview with Kiss FM’s Dennis Milimo, revealing that their movie ‘Click Click Bang’ has not only garnered immense acclaim but also remarkable financial success.

The film, which has been a labor of love, managed to amass a staggering Sh.9 Million in earnings, surpassing all expectations.

Mutua, never one to shy away from transparency, also disclosed that the expenses involved in the movie’s production and distribution amounted to Sh7 Million, leaving the production in the black with an impressive profit of nearly Sh2 Million.

His words resonate with gratitude and pride, as he acknowledges the rarity of such profitable ventures in the film industry.

“We really appreciate it because most film projects don’t make a profit. Most people look for funding abroad to make movies,” remarked Abel Mutua.

But the journey doesn’t end here. Abel is excited about the future, promising their fans a movie every year through PhilIt Production, the company he co-owns with Director Philip Karanja.

“We promised in 2020 that the day we will venture into the film industry fully we will be giving our fans a movie every year. So next year we have another one,” hinted Abel.

And in an emotional twist to this story, Abel’s daughter, Mumbua Mutua, was moved to tears by her father’s incredible success.

Mumbua’s emotional moment was captured in a heartwarming video as she watched her father’s sold-out performance at the second edition of “The Jyuuce Party.”

Overflowing with pride and emotion, she declared, “He has already succeeded.”

Abel Mutua, known fondly as “Mkurugenzi”, shared this touching moment with his fans, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support he has received.

His dream had come true, and he recognized that the most important person in his household had given her seal of approval.

“When the most important person in the household approves of your madness then mambo iko tu sawa. Last night was a dream, guys!!! God really showed off through us,” shared the elated Mutua.

My wife is the fuel that propels me to greatness, confessed Abel Mutua in an interview with Lynn Ngugi.

“Judy is the fuel that propels me to greatness. And it’s not something she has started now, she has been that person since 2008 when we met.

Every situation we have been in has been a reason for me to grind even harder. Thanks to her. I keep on telling her that if it was not for her I would have amounted to nothing,” Mutua said in part.

Consequently, ““I will die for this woman any day because I know where I would have been without her. For sure without her I would have no sense of direction at all.

Additionally, “The reason why I was grounded is because I have someone in the house who was cheering for me regardless of what I was doing.

As long as she saw the potential she was there to cheer me up and assure me that whatever happens, we are in it 100%,” Mutua stated.
