Police arrest suspected terrorists in Likoni

Police in Mombasa on Monday arrested suspected terrorists at the Likoni Ferry crossing channel.

The officers drawn from the Anti-Terror Police Unit (ATPU) arrested the terror suspects at around 10 am on the mainland side.

Two AK 47 rifles, mobile phones, ammunition and other items have been recovered in the operation.

Coast Regional Police Commander, confirming the incident, says that investigation has been launched.
