Notorious knife-wielding mugger operating in Huruma, Kariobangi arrested

A suspected robber was on Saturday, November 19 arrested by police who were o patrolalong the Nairobi Outering Road.
The proverbial 40 days of a thief lapsed for one Dickson Gatonga Njeri, who was arrested by police officers who had received intelligence on him.
Njeri is suspected to be a notorious mugger and was positively identified by his victims.
"He is a suspected notorious mugger who was positively identified by several victims and has been operating in Huruma and Kariobangi," the National Police Service (NPS) says in a statement.
Upon search, police officers recovered a kitchen knife from him. He was placed in the cells awaiting processing and arraignment on Monday, November 21.
"The Multi-Agency security team in Nairobi County continues to record great success in accomplishing its objective of maintaining law and order.
"We thank the public for partnering with the security team and for volunteering information leading to the successful arrest," adds the NPS.
