Two pupils of Ngurubani Primary have died by suicide in two weeks; what's happening?

This is the second incident in two weeks time that a pupil from Ngurubaini Primary School has died by suicide under unclear circumstances.
Shock and grief engulfed Kithogondo estate in Ngurubani town in Mwea East sub-County after a Grade 4 pupil died by suicide at their home.
According to Peter Kamau, the deceased's uncle, the Ngurubani Primary School pupil feared that he would be punished by his mother after a sufuria was carried away while washing utensils at River Thiba.
The incident has left residents in disbelief after witnessing another incident three weeks ago when a class seven pupil of the same school died by suicide at Ndiambo estate, neighbouring kithogondo estate.
On 2nd November 2022, a standard seven pupil at the same school hanged herself from the rooftop of their house after her mother allegedly stopped her from boiling water using cooking gas.
