MCA, driver escape death by a whisker as car collides with another

Lari Kirenga MCA Josphat Kinyanjui and his driver escaped death by a whisker after his car collided with another at Rukuma area in Lari Constituency, Kiambu County, on the busy Nairobi-Nakuru Highway.

A bodaboda rider and a pillion passenger also escaped death after their motorcycle hit the two vehicles involved in the accident.

Kinyanjui was heading towards the Nakuru direction when the accident occurred. 

Four people were rushed to AIC Kijabe Hospital with serious injuries. They included the bodaboda rider and his passenger as well as two occupants of the other car.

The MCA urged drivers to be careful while driving along busy roads, saying they would reduce cases of accidents.

The wreckage of the two vehicles and the motorcycle were towed to Lari Police Station for inspection as the traffic officers embark on investigations.
