Nandi: Man kills friend in suspected love triangle with school-going girl

Police in Kaimosi, at the border of Nandi and Vihiga counties, have arrested a man who reportedly killed another in a suspected love triangle.

29-year-old Robert Kirui is said to have struck Moses Kiprotich, 23, on the head using a blunt object after suspecting that he is having an affair with his school-going girlfriend.

Confirming the incident, Nandi Central Deputy OCPD David Anyir says that Kiprotich died on Tuesday, January 24 while he was being rushed to the hospital.

Kirui is currently in custody at Kaimosi Police Station as investigation starts.

The police boss says that he will be arraigned in court to face murder charges.
