Appearing before Kangundo Principal Magistrate Martha Opanga, Mwanzia was charged with two counts under the Sexual Offences Act.

He also pleaded not guilty and released to this charge and was released on a bond of KSh200,000. This particular case will be mentioned earlier than the other one - 22nd March 2023.
