Four suspected poachers arrested with 15 pieces of elephant tusks in Kiambu

Police in Kiambu County have arrested four suspected poachers.
Daniel Musembi Kimilu, Michael Kimeru Karanja, Charles Njomo Okwach and Jane Wangui Kiarie were found in possession of 15 pieces of elephant tusks.
They were arrested at a house in Wangige, Kiambu County on Sunday night in an operation conducted by officers from the Kenya Wildlife Service, and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
“The four are currently in custody at King’eero Police Station pending arraignment in court,” says the DCI.
