Couple holds party to celebrate divorce; he caught his wife cheating six times

A couple has surprised many after it decided to hold a mega party to celebrate its separation.

John Kapita, a Zimbabwean, reportedly caught his wife Marvellous Mercy Kudzara six times cheating on him with different men.

The couple then decided to end their union amicably, and resolved to hold a party to celebrate the divorce.

The H-Metro, a Zimbabwean outlet, reports that the two once-lovebirds created a disturbance in the neighbourhood by playing loud music and dancing to celebrate their split.

“We are worried about John following his separation with his wife of five years. He might take his life because it is not normal for a man who has been cheated on to behave that way,” one of Kapita’s workmates told H-Metro, a Zimbabwean outlet.

“We are checking on him daily. They danced together soon after his wife loaded her belongings into a hired truck,” he added.

But according to Kapita, he was celebrating ridding himself from the bondage of “abuse”.

He rued that his wife has been cheating on him with different men. At first, he says, he forgave her, bearing in mind that they had lived for more that two years without being blessed with a child.

“She later conceived and our child is one-and-half years old now but she continued cheating. She had become a nuisance and I lost all my dignity because of her loose morals,” he says.

He added: “We sat down and agreed to separate peacefully and that is why we played music so as to let our neighbours know that we have finally found peace. I allowed her to collect everything and I am prepared to start a new life.”
