A court has ordered Brian Mwenda Njagi who is accused of masquerading as a lawyer to present himself at the Muthaiga police station by January 9, 2024 in the afternoon.
This was after Makadara Law courts issued a warrant of arrest for the alleged fake lawyer.
In his ruling, High court Judge Nixon Sifuna ordered Mwenda to present himself before the OCS at Muthaiga police station for purposes of his arrest and arraignment in court on January 10, 2024.
At the same time, the Judge declined to set aside the warrant of arrest issued against Mwenda.

The court ruled that if Mwenda fails to present himself to the police station, then any police officer is free to arrest him and hand him over to any police station.
This was after Mwenda failed to appear before the Madaraka Law Courts on Tuesday January 9, for plea taking.

He was arraigned in court on October 18, 2023 where he was charged with six counts of charges. The charges included practicing law without a certificate, and making a false document.
However, he denied all the charges before Nairobi Chief Magistrate Lukas Onyina.
