Frenchman Kylian Mbappe’s long-awaited move to his “dream Club” Real Madrid has finally come to fruition.
Real Madrid announced the signing of Mbappe as a free agent following his exit from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)on Monday.
The Frenchman immediately sent out a message to Los Blancos fans and also posted an old photo of him in a Real Madrid jersey with posters of Ronaldo in the background.
To the surprise of everyone, the five-time Champions League winner then sent a message of support to Mbappe.
The Portuguese forward left a comment under Mbappe’s social media post, which read: “My turn to [watch]. Excited to see you light up the Bernabeu. #HalaMadrid”
Madrid has long targeted the Frenchman, and after years of pursuit, the 25-year-old has finally signed a five-year contract, per Sky Sports.
News of Kylian’s imminent arrival kept almost everyone in the football ecosystem on their toes, and when the announcement finally came via the club’s ‘Communicado Official’, social media buzzed.
Mbappe has long been a strong admirer of Ronaldo and has never shied away from voicing his admiration to the world, usually tilting towards CR7 in the greatest of all-time discussions.
