Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has announced the availability of 1,000 driver job vacancies in Saudi Arabia, based on qualification.
“A reputable company from Saudi Arabia is urgently looking for drivers for small vehicles, buses, and trucks to work in the Gulf State,” Mutua shared on his social media platforms.
“Qualified candidates will receive a monthly salary of 1,400 Saudi Riyals, which is equivalent to Ksh. 50,000,” he added.
Successful applicants will also benefit from free accommodation, transport, food, and medical care upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
Interested candidates must present an original driver’s license and other valid certificates. Mutua also assured candidates without passports that “expedited passport processing shall be facilitated.”
However, applicants will be required to pay a medical fee of Ksh. 15,000. Mutua emphasized the importance of preparing in advance and having the medical fee ready, as successful candidates will travel immediately after completing their medical clearance.
He encouraged Kenyans to seize the opportunity to secure a job that could improve their futures.
The recruitment process will be held in three counties: Nairobi, Nyeri, and Mombasa. Applicants from Nairobi County are expected to attend interviews at Kabete National Polytechnic on December 18 and 19, 2024, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
