Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha on Monday, October 16 thanked Members of Parliament and Senators for passing the “crucial” healthcare bills.

“I really want to thank MPs – led by Health Committee Chairperson Robert Pukose – and Senators. They did a tremendous job in working on the four bills to replace NHIF Act. We are now waiting on the final process then our healthcare system will be revolutionised,” an optimistic CS Nakhumicha said.
The CS also assured that her Ministry will procedurally address issues affecting health workers to ensure a motivated workforce for effective and efficient services.
