Longtime Kenyan musician Daddy Owen has declined to comment on whether he is dating President Ruto’s daughter.
The president’s daughter Charlene Ruto has been spotted in public with the gospel artist prompting questions from Kenyans online.
Charlene and Daddy Owen have been spotted matchmaking and pairing together during public appearances together.

Daddy Owen divorced
The famed gospel singer was however previously married to Farida Wambui who they divorced in 2020.
According to the Tobina hit maker, he wedded Farida Wambui in a colorful wedding but she later dumped him and started dating another wealthy man.
This happened at the height of Covid where many were adversely affected economically by the covid pandemic.
According to Daddy Owen, he wished he had not gotten married at the height of his fame.

“When all these things are happening, you’re just on a different level. But now getting married at the peak of your career is a different story,” he said.
In a previous interview, the artist shared that his marriage was toxic and it drove him into depression.
“I fell into depression and could lock myself in the house and cry, asking God why this was going on” he shared.

Daddy Owen Charlene Rumours
In a recent video surprising Kenyans for Christmas festivities, Charlene Ruto shared the Christmas cheer with unsuspecting passengers on a bus.
Coincidentally, the artist had accompanied her through the journey where they shared information on the youth population in Kenya.
Moreover, the two have also been spotted visiting Daddy Owen’s mother during the recent festive season.
In a recent interview, Daddy Owen stated that he could not speak for Charlene seeing that she was absent from the setup.
He stated that doing so would be unfair and not right as he stated that he would plead the fifth as far as addressing dating rumors is concerned.
