The Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Mr. Mohamed Amin, has reaffirmed the National Police Service’s commitment to collaborating with other government security agencies within the criminal justice system to ensure the safety of the nation.
Addressing 66 graduates of the Senior Training Course at the National Police Service Senior Staff College, Amin, representing Acting Inspector General Gilbert Masengeli, emphasized that the leadership positions the graduates have attained come with increased responsibilities.
He urged the new Assistant Superintendents of Police to prepare for the significant tasks that lie ahead.
The six-month course, which included officers from the Administration Police Service and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, was specifically designed to equip trainees with the necessary leadership skills as they transition into managerial roles at the Sub-County levels.
D. L. Lomwatu, Commandant of the National Police College, Embakasi A Campus, called for professionalism and integrity among the graduates in their duties.
He also stressed the importance of maintaining a cordial relationship with the public.
Mr. Amin received a warm reception from the institution’s Commandant Evelyne G. Nyamohanga and was accompanied by the DCI’s Director of Personnel, Francis Ndiema.
