Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Dandora, working closely with the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau, have arrested two suspects.
They linked to a disturbing robbery and gang rape incident that took place on March 11, 2025.

The suspects, identified as Ben Waimari and Moses Odhiambo, alias Pascal, were part of a seven-man gang.
Furthermore, they attacked a woman after her car got stuck in the mud along Ruai-Kangundo Road as she was heading home to Malaa.
Pretending to offer help, the suspects suddenly turned violent, forcing the woman into the boot of her car and taking over the vehicle.
Heinous act
They drove her through Kangundo Road, into the Mowlem area and eventually stopped near the Nairobi River at Kwa Mbao in Dandora.
There, the attackers subjected the victim to a horrifying assault.
The ordeal came to an abrupt end when a passing motorist heard the victim’s cries and intervened, prompting the gang to abandon her and flee in her car.
The victim was quickly rescued and taken to hospital for treatment, and the matter was reported at Kwa Mbao Police Post.
The attackers not only stole her car and household items, but also accessed her mobile money accounts, robbing her of more funds.
However, the most painful loss remains the trauma she suffered at the hands of those she initially believed were coming to her aid.
Suspects timely arrest
Thanks to swift forensic work and persistent investigation, detectives were able to trace and arrest the suspects, who then led them to Maringo in Buruburu sub-county.
There, officers recovered the stolen vehicle, though it had been vandalized and stripped of its wheels.
Several other items stolen from the victim were also recovered during the operation.
The two suspects are currently in police custody and are being processed for prosecution.
Investigations remain ongoing as officers pursue the remaining members of the gang who are still at large.
DCI has assured the public that every effort is being made to bring all those involved in this heinous act to justice.
